The MARC EMIL FILS Foundation, was founded with the Mission of promoting education, culture and sport in children and adolescents in the Dominican Republic ad Haiti , helping the maintenance of schools and providing books, equipment and educational aids for students who attend these schools; assist in the maintenance and support of churches with services conducted in accordance with the Christian faith; help in the care of health through medical services, as well as medications, equipment, using as a tool of the Christian faith.
Objectives: Advancing the Christian faith, alleviating poverty in the Dominican Republic and Haiti through supplies of food, clothing, housing and other basic supplies to people in need, carrying out the necessary activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above beneficial purposes.
My name is Marc Emil Fils, I was born and raised on the island of La Gonave on the 25th of March 1970.I went to Wesleyen schools on the 70's. My parents were extremely poor, they couldn't effort to pay my school fee, praise and Glory be to God, there was a man of God named Lee Wisken from United States of America he decided to pay my school fee from 1st grade to 12 grades. When I was on 8th grades I started to support the students on my area with their homework and helped the elders on the area how to read and write. But the main goal I had was to put a school together and make sure all the kids on my area know how to read and write. If you love kids and believe in education as much as I do please support our cause to create a better environment for our pupils.
